HENDERSON, KY. (Sept 26, 2017) – The Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on US 41 North in the city limits of Henderson. Upon conducting the traffic stop, Troopers made contact with David Sunkel of Reid KY. During the course of the traffic stop Sunkel was found to be under the influence and was also found to be in possession of cocaine. Sunkel was then taken to the Henderson County Detention Center, where he was booked on these charges: 1 Careless driving, 2 failure to produce insurance card, 3 possession of open alcoholic container in motor vehicle, 4 DUI, 5 possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (cocaine).
