It has now been revealed that five people were arrested by Immigration officials last week in Owensboro. According to media partner 14News, the ICE regional office confirmed that three men and two women were taken into custody Thursday. Three of them have arrest convictions, one had come back after being returned to Mexico 11 years ago, and one allegedly had false ID and employment forms. Owensboro Public Schools also confirmed that ICE officials did not come into any of the schools. Agents say they avoid going into places like schools and hospitals, and that these actions are done around the country on a routine daily basis.
