An Ohio County man was arrested over the weekend after an incident in which police say he chased family members down a road and almost hit a deputy’s cruiser. The Ohio County Sheriff’s office told media partner 14News that they responded to a call Saturday about a rolling domestic in progress in the Cromwell area. The caller said she and her children were being chased by another vehicle driven by her husband, 40-year-old Christopher Estes. The woman said that Estes forced her to stop, and then got out and lay in the road to keep her from driving off again. She got around Estes when he got up. He then began chasing her again down 231 when a deputy had her pull over where the deputy was waiting. Officials say Estes then swerved and nearly hit the police car. Deputies were able to catch up with Estes in Beaver Dam, where he was arrested and charged with four counts of wanton endangerment.
