Tourism in Kentucky is worth more than ever. The state’s tourism department released a new report yesterday that says between money that tourists spend and the jobs created to cater to tourists, Kentucky sees a 15-billion-dollar a year economic impact from tourism. Kentucky Department of Tourism Commissioner Kristen Branscum says all parts of the state saw more tourism activity last year, but the western part of the state saw the biggest growth.
