Rick Pitino says firing him as Louisville’s basketball coach cost the program one of the nation’s top high school players. Pitino spoke with KRD 790 AM yesterday, saying he was certain New Albany High star Romeo Langford would have committed to Louisville if he was still with the program. He also said he thinks Adidas did what it could to make sure Langford committed to a school that’s contracted with Adidas. Langford committed to Indiana late last month.
