The state of Kentucky wants to make sure taxpayers and business across the state understand the pending tax changes. Lawmakers approved a new tax law this spring. Starting July 1st, some services in Kentucky will be taxed for the first time. The Kentucky Department of Revenue this week launched a website, TaxAnswers.KY.gov, to answer questions that business owners and taxpayer may have. Revenue Commissioner Daniel Bork say the idea is to make sure people are ready before the new taxes take effect.
