Kentucky‘s public health managers say the state’s hepatitis A outbreak is the worst in the country. Kentucky Commissioner of Public Health Dr. Jeff Howard yesterday said the outbreak that has sickened almost 970 people is the worst on record in the nation. Inside the state, Louisville’s outbreak is the worst. Howard says 482 people in the city have gotten sick so far this year.
