Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin says he had no choice but to cut dental and vision benefits for nearly a half million people in the state. The governor yesterday said last week’s ruling from a federal judge that struck down the state’s Medicaid changes forced his hand. Bevin wanted to see able bodied men on Medicaid work or volunteer, but the judge said no. Democrats in Frankfort yesterday called the governor’s cuts cold and callous.
