The Kentucky Humane Society is putting cats to work this summer and pairing them with local businesses to help them get rid of pests. The Humane Society says they started the program six years ago to improve the lives of cats that weren’t getting adopted. The cats are used to keep vermin and rodents away. So far, the humane society says they’ve saved 600 cats through the program.
