It’s officially election season in Kentucky. The state’s politicos kicked off the 2018 race to November on Saturday with the annual Fancy Farm Picnic. The event had Republicans and Democrats trading barbs and political promises. U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell headlined for the Republicans, and once again said his biggest accomplishment was getting Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes headlined for the Democrats, and spent much of her time on stage heckling Governor Matt Bevin, who did not attend.
