Junior Achievement of West Kentucky has been chosen out of 3,000 applicants as one of 200 semi-finalists for a $25,000 national State Farm Neighborhood Assist grant! JA needs your votes each day now through August 24th so they can be in the top 40 agencies to receive $25,000.
Junior Achievement, in partnership with local schools, works hard each year to prepare young people to succeed in the global economy and own their future economic success. This $25,000 State Farm grant will be a HUGE spark to NEW JA programs in over 860 classrooms, and 20,000 West Kentucky students, providing over 100,000 hours of fun, engaging, and impactful instruction!
JA programs help students understand the world of work, and personal finance, and what skills are necessary to succeed. 56% of JA students are labeled at risk. With your help they can move kids from “I Can’t” to “I Can”!
Each person can place 10 votes per day (per time logging in) per valid email address. After you vote, please share the JA of West Kentucky Facebook post with a personal message encouraging your contacts to vote!
To vote go to NeighborhoodAssist.com/entry/2012949 and click on the vote button on our JA of West Kentucky page. Again, please vote up to 10 times each day, as we seek to serve over 21,000 local students!
