Severe storms moved through the area starting around 3:15PM Saturday leaving damage in it’s wake.
Rotation was spotted in various locations in Daviess County, Hancock County, and Henderson County, in Kentucky, as well as, Spencer County, and Perry County in Indiana. The area is still on alert for more severe weather throughout the weekend.
Daviess County dispatch confirmed a sheriff’s deputy spotted rotation on the ground near Stanley. Pictures and videos showing the severe weather were posted all over social media.
Perry County reported flood damage and there were mudslides reported in the Troy Area. Authorities are warning of the dangers of driving in flood water. If you can’t see the road, do not attempt to drive through flood water.
