The Daviess County High School Panther Players are performing the Neil Simon comedy, “Fools.”
The play tells the story of Leon Tolchinsky, who has been hired as a private tutor in a Russian village in 1890. He soon discovers that every resident, including his student, has been cursed with stupidity for 200 years – and that if he remains in the village for 24 hours, he will fall under the spell also. But he has fallen in love with his student and vows to break the curse and free the girl, her parents and the townspeople from their lives as fools.
Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-29; with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain.
