The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Daviess County until 4:15PM CDT.
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Some rains will be repeating over the same areas, and this will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include Owensboro, Whitesville, Masonville, Stanley, Knottsville, St. Joseph and Moseleyville.
Scattered thunderstorms will continue through tonight. This afternoon and tonight, a few strong to severe storms are possible, with isolated damaging winds. Locally heavy rain will continue to be a concern.
