Country Heights Elementary School will host a “Leaders in the Workplace” event for all students from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19. Community leaders will visit with students, sharing insights about their college journey, career, daily responsibilities, and how they use the 7 Habits in their daily routine.
Guests include oral surgeon Dr. John Hammen, emergency physician Dr. Chris Pergrem, WFIE-14 meteorologist Byron Douglas, members of local law enforcement agencies and firemen, as well as many other community leaders who will spend time with CHES students as part of this special morning.
“This is a win-win for our community and our students,” said Cindy Heady, Country Heights Elementary School guidance counselor. “We are excited that CHES students will learn about community careers that may spark an interest in their future careers. This will be a great day of learning as well as community involvement in our school.”
