On December 12th, 2018, at about 8:20 am the Owensboro Police Department and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office located two juveniles in a stolen vehicle in the area of the 2900 Block of Baybrook Street. Detectives from the Owensboro Police Department were able to determine the juveniles had been involved in multiple thefts overnight as well as a burglary outside of the city limits. Two stolen vehicles along with numerous other stolen property was recovered.
Both juveniles were charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking of an Automobile over $500, Theft of a Controlled Substance under $10,000, Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500, Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500, Receiving Stolen Property under $500, Theft by Unlawful Taking of an Automobile over $10,000, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident by the Owensboro Police Department.
Both juveniles were additionally charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespass 3rd
Degree, and one juvenile was charged with Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
