Join us for a fun-filled evening, as six local celebrities and their partners perform for your pleasure in competition for the coveted mirror ball trophy, all while raising money for the Owensboro Boulware Mission!

Taunya Iverson & Buster Ashley
Taunya is the General Manager for Cromwell Media—Owensboro and oversees 8 local radio stations, full on digital department, and 20 employees. She is a passionate community business leader whose mission is to serve people and to help community organizations and businesses succeed in their missions. She’s proudly served on the board of Girls Inc. for 2 years and been a member of Impact 100 for the past 3 years. She’s originally from Charleston, SC but has called Kentucky home for 17 years. Taunya and husband, Kevin McManaway, share seven grown children, and 6 grandchildren. Making a positive impact on the world is her main goal and has earned her the nickname “Unicorn”. She is a goal crusher and DWOS has been her dream for seven years—so now she’s ready to dance!
Taynya Says: “I am a passionate Community Business Leader that over sees 8 Local Radio Stations, Full on Digital Department and 20 employees. My mission as a leader in the community is to serve the people, help community organizations and businesses succeed in their missions. I love my career and the radio industry because it brings people together and connects us to each other whether it’s through music, events or trending news. Plus, it has great Perks!I would say that I am the hardest worker in the room, passionate about inspiring and encouraging others to go after their goals and dreams no matter what! I did life backwards kids, family first then got my GED at 25 and pursued this career! I love to travel mostly to beaches to eat seafood but exploring new places is what I seek.
I love coffee, nachos, wine and anything motivational! I am a Goal Crusher with DWOS being one that I have dreamed about for years! Let’s Dance!”
Partner Buster Ashley is from Owensboro, KY. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 17 years and has 2 amazing kids (Hannah, 15 & Ty, 12). Buster graduated from Owensboro High School in 2000 and went on to attend Western Kentucky University on a full athletic scholarship. He graduated from WKU in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science (Teaching Degree). While playing football at WKU, his 2002 team won a national championship and I was a 3 year all American selection. In 2016, Buster was honored and selected to the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame and in 2018 selected to the all-Century Team. Once he moved back to Owensboro, KY he began a teaching career In Special Education with the Owensboro Public schools 9 years and 3 years with Daviess County Public schools. In 2018 he left the teaching profession and began a new career with Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, where he is currently a Marketing and Customer Service Rep.
Taunya & Buster’s Coach/Choreographer, Baylee Long, was the instructor for 2019 Champions, Eric & Ashley Owen. She’s excited to be creating another crowd-pleasing routine and hopefully coach her second winning team!
Iverson Stated: “We are excited to compete this year in Dancing with our Stars Owensboro Style. It is a privilege to raise money for Boulware Mission this year. Taunya and her team have done numerous fundraising events in order to try and raise the most money for the Owensboro Boulware Mission. It is Iverson’s job to raise money up until the competition and there are only 2 weeks remaining to raise the money needed to win!

Boston Butt’s For Boulware:
July 31 Saturday: Boston Butts – July 31st 100 butts being smoked @ my house starting @ 6am
Pick up is 2 pm to 4 pm
Iverson and her husband are hoping to sell 100 Boston Butts. The Maceo Annual Cooking Teams have volunteered to smoke the butts.
Pick up will be at Lewisport Boat dock between 2 pm and 4pm.
Your purchase of a Boston Butt will not only help Iverson win Dancing with the Stars; all proceeds go to Boulware Mission; a faith-based shelter in Owensboro helping displaced individuals become self-sufficient through treatment, education, and services.

August 1st Sunday from 3 to 5pm: Amber Farmer will be hosting a Norwex party at her house with 20% of sale going to Boulware Mission.
