Owensboro City Schools, Daviess County Public Schools and Owensboro Catholic Schools announced on Wednesday that masks will be required to start the school year. Previously, all three districts had stated that masks would be optional. The joint announcement on the mask guidelines comes from the CDC and Governor Andy Beshear who both recommend masks for students in grades K through 12.
